Rukun Shalat
The rukun shalat are the essential components that make a prayer valid in Islam. It begins with a sincere intention (niyyah) to perform the prayer, followed by the opening takbir (“Allahu Akbar”) to officially start. Standing (qiyam) is necessary, during which Surah Al-Fatihah is recited. The prayer includes actions like bowing (ruku’) and prostration (sujud) with proper form and calmness. In the final sitting, the Tashahhud is recited, and the prayer concludes with the salam. Observing these pillars ensures the prayer is complete and meaningful.

Adab - Adab di Hari Jum'at
Friday is a blessed day in Islam, marked by special etiquettes and practices. Muslims are encouraged to perform ghusl (a ritual bath) and wear clean clothes to approach the day with cleanliness and respect. Reciting Surah Al-Kahf brings spiritual benefits and blessings for the coming week. It is also a day to send abundant blessings (salawat) upon Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Muslims are encouraged to arrive early at the mosque to engage in the Friday prayer (Jumu’ah) and listen attentively to the sermon (khutbah), making the most of this significant weekly gathering.

The Hijrah symbolizes sacrifice and the formation of a faith-centered society.

The adzan is a source of immense blessings. It unites Muslims for prayer, repels Shaytan, and grants the mu’adhin great rewards. Everything that hears it will testify for the caller on Judgment Day, and responding to it brings more blessings.

(Demikianlah keadaan orang-orang kafir itu), hingga apabila datang kematian kepada seseorang dari mereka, dia berkata, “Ya Tuhanku, kembalikanlah aku (ke dunia), agar aku dapat berbuat kebajikan yang telah aku tinggalkan.” Sekali-kali tidak!
